A small note added to the "Experiments" section devoted to the Study of the effect of metal barrels on the effectiveness of coilguns. The inductance of a coil wound on a metal tube in various configurations was measured and compared to the inductance of the same coil without a conductive core. The results of measurements at various frequencies and the corresponding speeds of motion of the projectile accelerated by the coilgun are presented.
