An important thing happened - the legendary "Anvil" GR-1 model from ArcFlashLabs was added to the Accelerator Table. This coilgun, widely advertised last year, participated in many shows, such as the Demolition Ranch or Forgotten Weapons, but its exact parameters were unknown to me for a long time and would have remained a mystery even further if not for the help of Megavolt. Judging by the evaluation results, the characteristics of the GR-1 are very far from ideal (the G-factor is about 25%, which is the lower "quality limit" of multi-stage coilguns, and the Kx coefficient is generally record-low), which, however, does not negate the fact that this is probably the most well-known example of a portable accelerator of ferromagnetic bodies.

Unfortunately, you can add a "fly in the ointment" to this news - the ArcFlashLabs website has recently been unavailable, and, apparently, the company has ceased to exist....Thus, E-Shotgun remained the only supplier of coilguns available in the Internet space. Let's see how further events will turn..

Looks like Arcflash is still in business to me, the site is up and seems they're still selling the EMG-02

ArcFlashLabs site is still unavaliable for Russian users, even with the help of VPN. The only conclusion is that its owners aim predominately to USA military customers rather than civil market....Anyway it's a pity when political reasons are more valuable than free scientific progress...
